Boutique law firm located in beautiful Downtown Walnut Creek, California, with practice areas in Tax Law, Civil Litigation, Estate Planning, Elder Law, Trust Litigation, Restraining Orders, and Business Law.

We have the unique opportunity for the right person to fill an Associate Attorney position to help with our high volume of cases. Your tasks would include drafting legal documents, assisting with the discovery process, and performing legal research for each case. We are looking for someone who can aggressively represent our clients' interests. Our ideal applicant has 3-7 years of Law Firm experience as an attorney, preferably focused on Tax law, Business law, Estate Planning and/or Civil Litigation.

Associate Attorney Duties and Responsibilities

· Assist with drafting legal documents, including motions and pleadings.

· Assist with the discovery process by administering depositions, issuing interrogatories, and reviewing documents.

· Negotiate settlements.

· Perform legal research.

· Make court appearances, as necessary.

· Conduct initial consultations with potential clients.

Associate Attorney Requirements and Qualifications

· Juris Doctor degree

· License to practice law in CA.

· Law Firm as Attorney experience (3-7 years)

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Analytical skills

· Attention to detail.

Salary:

• Depending on experience.
• Benefits, Health, 401K, PTO eligibility upon completion of 90-day probationary period.
